A few kilometers away you will find amazing landscape at Mount Gundabooka National Park. The park is situated on spiritual aboriginal land and contains rock art. It has also camping and picnic areas.

Bourke's cemetery is always worth a visit. It contains a little Mosque and several afghan graves from the 1920's camel traders. 1991's Australian of the year, the eye surgeon Fred Hollows was buried here, as well as the local Poet F.H.Brown.
Mt. Oxley, rising high above the flat land has the best view of the surrounding. Beautiful sunsets and the local wildlife including kangaroos, emus, wallabies and eagles are to be seen.
The Lednapper is best to be seen after a spring rainfall. See the most beautiful native wildflowers all around you and take a walk through one Garden of Eden.
